Last Chance Triathlon: Until Next Year’s USAT Season at Fort De Soto

Last Chance Triathlon in Fort De Soto Park Florida in November 2024

Formerly known as Sun Coast Triathlon, now aptly-named Last Chance Triathlon is typically the last chance of the year to participate in a USAT sanctioned event. Scarborough Bicycle Accident Law is thrilled to be a sponsor and to support all the multisport athletes in Florida. Limited to five hundred competitors, registration fills up well before race day on November 17, 2024 starting at 7am. Check out the details of the Last Chance Triathlon and have a great end to triathlon season.

Last Chance Triathlon: Location and Race Benefits

Still located at idyllic Fort De Soto, which consists of 1,136 acres of parkland and five interconnected islands (keys), this is an ideal place to race. There are prizes for the first 200 finishers, awards for top three finishers, with complimentary drinks, snacks, and pre/post race entertainment and parties. Organizers strongly recommend coming on Saturday, November 16, 2024 for package pickup and to support the sponsors and vendors.

What you need to know: Closed-course racing

Families and friends are welcome to observe and cheer on their athlete, but must be within the park by 6:45am. There will be sheriff deputies and signs on hand to help direct parking, as well online information on a new mobile pay for parking. Cars will not be able to leave during the event as the roads will be closed for the safety of all participants and visitors.
